The thread on the Ultem 8 section is flawless—it threads into my full-sized pen with zero wobble and the grip change took under a minute. Now I can swap between finer and broader nibs without needing a whole new pen body, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
The threads on these Ultem sections are cut so cleanly that swapping between my pocket and full-sized pens takes seconds without any wobble. I’ve bought three different grip configurations now and every single one seats perfectly flush.
Machined these Ultem sections fit my Smoltem perfectly, zero wobble when swapping grips. The matte texture gives a solid hold even with sweaty hands, and the threads are buttery smooth. Just wish the package included a wrench for stubborn installs, but it’s a solid upgrade for the price.
